Richard Eliphas
Our Founder & Lead Guide
Born in Tanzania and university-trained as a lawyer and wildlife conservationist, Richard Eliphas has been a safari tour guide and operator in Africa since 2006. With deep experience in Tanzania, Africa, Botswana, Rwanda, and other locations in Africa, Richard's passion has always been combining his love of the African bush with his relentless focus on client service and client satisfaction.
Richard has extensive experience with domestic and international clients and has led tours with clients from all over the world, including the US, Canada, UK, Monaco, France, Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Russia, Grenada, Poland, China, Japan, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Thailand. Richard is fluent in both English and French and is happily conducting safaris in both languages.
Richard considers the African bush his home, but spends his non-safari time with his wife Neema and his 3-year-old son Jaysen at their home in Arusha, Tanzania.
Frank John
Our Senior Guide
Also born in Tanzania, and college-trained as a botanist, ornithologist, and wildlife conservation specialist, Frank has been leading safaris all over Africa since 2005. Frank had a passion for wildlife from an early age and studied at Mweka College, which is the top college in East Africa for wildlife studies and conservation.
Like our founder, Richard, Frank is very experienced in running safari tours for international clients from around the globe. He is fluent in both English and French and routinely leads safari tours in both languages.
Frank lives in Arusha, Tanzania, with his wife and two daughters.
